Program Management
Zethos Consulting program managers have experience working with executives and project sponsors to setup a program model that produces consolidated benefits across multiple related projects. Our program management model seeks to establish clear expectations with project sponsors and stakeholder's so they can provide effective steering and oversight.
From our program management experience we know that every program, business initiative and technology project is unique. It is important to establish the right level of governance, communication, issue escalation and consolidated project status reporting for the benefit of project executives, sponsors, stake holders, managers and participants. An effective program model will maximize your return on investment, minimize resource conflict, reduce schedule delays and ensure the successful delivery of related projects.
The Zethos Program Management Model:
- Establish formal program governance, reporting and executive oversight
- Prioritize stage project execution based on return on investment
- Plan and forecast program project cost, schedule and performance
- Baseline and track program project cost, schedule and performance
- Monitor, escalate and resolve program risks and issues
- Identify and address program gaps and project inter-dependencies
- Develop contingency plans
- Establish PMO practices, standards and a guidebook for project managers
- Mentor and coach project managers in the program
The Zethos Program management model ensures overall success of the program by focusing on the interdependencies between projects (e.g., task dependencies, resource sharing, contingency planning, etc.), as well as sound management of each of those projects (e.g., financial forecasting, task definition, resource assignments, resource leveling, etc.). When Zethos Consulting completes a program, we leave behind our program management structure and practices so our clients can leverage them in the future.
